Whether you're new parents seeking breast/chest feeding guidance, or looking for ongoing lactation support, I provide individualized care plans to address various aspects of infant feeding in lactation topics include,
and more, and these are just examples of common topics, and I support various lactation issues you and your baby may have. My consultations include visual assessment, support during feeding, and the development of a personalized lactation care plan together. During in-home visits, I utilize a hospital-grade pediatric baby scale to check the baby's weight and milk intake. Additionally, I bring a lactation kit that may be necessary for feeding interventions.
The initial session typically lasts up to 120 minutes, followed by a 90-minute follow-up visit (if indicated or upon parents' request) to ensure the plan is on track.

My services are covered by several insurance companies (Aetna, Anthem BCBS, UHC, Cigna, Humana, etc.). Please contact me to verify your plan and your coverage.
If you choose to pay directly for my services, I will provide a superbill (invoice) for you to submit to your health insurance company. Payment is required at the time of the service. Some insurers cover lactation services, while others do not. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed, and I highly recommend contacting your health insurance company to check for lactation service coverage (CPT Code S9443). The superbill can be used for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) claims to possibly reimburse your lactation services.
